The first ever Swan Valley Twilight Wedding Expo happened last Thursday, with 15 participating venues including Oakover Grounds, Sandalford Winery, Barrett Lane, Guildford Hotel etc… and some of WA’s finest vendors.

Loved also chatting with Nick from Glamping Co, founder, creator, manufacturer. His first was built for his fiancee Kelly. An immensely successful business, rooted in a simple but fierce love story.

Rowena and team from Picnics by Design did an amazing job of making full use of the view and brances by the lovely lake at Oakover Grounds, a beautiful creation of turquoise, pink and gold. I wouldn’t mind a picnic wedding, would you?

We wish we had time to really find out ALL the stories behind these wonderful small businesses because they each run on a love and passion for their vision. It was tough finding time to do that with everyone whilst performing, unfortunately. We hope to see some of you at a wedding or event some time soon!

You’d have to pinch to expand and see our expressions haha. But love this shot of us in @glampingco ‘s sparkling luxurious white tent, Nick! We always have a thing for tipis and tents. Did we mention that we have one set up in our Imaginarium? ✨ It was Moonbeam’s lil gift for my birthday. I love the sweet love story behind the tremendous business that is @glampingco now. It doesn’t matter how many singing jazz uke/ac. bass players there are because we know there is only one Polkadot + Moonbeam. It is the love behind this music, for this sound, and for the people we love that makes who we are. I reckon, there is no @glampingco like Nick & Kelly’s. Aside from the minor detail that you guys are perfection! 🙌 We also loved meeting @simona_lovestories @picnicsbydesign @grahamhallfoto @gilded_florals , @krugerphotography , @perthdancefloors & @j_ferrephotography_ (we didn’t get to chat! I really wanted to!) @bridal_select_cakes (I did manage a wave! 👋👋) @bbsp_lighting (thanks for the chat Richard, double up as a muso, multi-talent!)
