We had the privilege and pleasure of playing for the wedding of Amy and Josh at the brand new Estate Room at Sandalford Winery last summer weekend. So much care, thought and detail – so much love. Thank you for trusting us with your very special day.
And honestly, you made it very easy to trust you both. From day one of dealing with you, we knew you where both professionals and brilliant at what you do.
Whilst waiting for the beautiful bride to arrive, we spotted Josh very carefully checking that the reception room, the welcome/canapes room, the deck was immaculate just minutes before Amy arrived. They had enjoyed every bit of their wedding planning (such a delight to hear!) and wanted it to be just perfect. Prepared with love were the 3 words that crossed my mind.
When we saw you guys play, we knew we wanted you! You guys are so talented, and it was sooo romantic. We didn’t even bother contacting any other bands.
We were engaged to play for the pre-reception segment, and couldn’t wait to serenade his guests. But not before first playing Etta James’ famous classic ‘At Last’ for a quiet private moment just for the couple right after their ceremony. A song so thoughtfully selected, anyone could see, this was a long-awaited moment for Josh and Amy. They danced what would be their first dance together as husband and wife. Romance and joy filled the deck. We then rolled out the rest of our playlist for the evening with upbeat tunes like ‘Come Fly With Me’, ‘Beyond the Sea’, and other latin tunes in the cool summer breeze before the DJ Aaron took over the music for the night.
I’m so glad we got to hear you sing because it was absolutely beautiful, and I’ll never forget our first moments as a married couple listening and dancing to your rendition of Etta James.
