We were a small part of the much-anticipated wedding ceremony showcase, the inaugural Ceremony Feels! Congratulations first and foremost to our celebrity celebrants Kirk Goodsell and Kiss Me You Fool – Dilhari on their brainchild. Cheers to everyone that was a part of this special day. xx
BIGGEST thanks to Lifawall Photography and Alex from Perth Wedding Videos for their footage of the full-day event at Perth City Farm, as well as Erica (Baked by Erica), Caviar Catering, That Little Gelato Cart, The Little Wheel-Bar-O and Jess (The Tea Booth) for the glorious grazing table, beautiful yummy cookies and heavenly tea! Charming furniture provided by Decor Hire Perth.
We were extremely blessed to have some of Perth’s most talented, and not to mention nicest folks share their wisdom so generously. My favourites have always been anecdotes. Isn’t that just anybody’s? They are like precious gems, shared via each vendor’s accumulated experience in the real wedding industry. So thank you our popstars Kirk and Dilhari, Nat (We Are All Stardust Photography), Jason Tey Photography, Max (Complete DJ), Michelle (Paw Star Pet Services), Daisy Clover Films…. for all your words of wisdom. Being present, collecting memories/moments, having your children or pets at your wedding ceremony… I bet you wish now that you never missed any of this!
Polkadot + Moonbeam was there to play for mainly 3 short segments over registration, lunch and (eep!) THE mock ceremony. Then together with Sidney and Kathryn (Dolce Ensembles) we had the wonderful opportunity to share some of our insights and experience as musicians for couples considering live music for their wedding ceremonies. It was terrific to agree on some of the most important things we had experienced in working with all our precious couples. A tip here we absolutely agreed on, know who you are booking! Come down listen to us, watch our videos, have a chat with us. So simple and so true!
Big thank yous to Amy & Kelly (A Little Bohemia), Diana (Heart & Soul Events) and Kim (Ceremony Secrets) for not only providing beautiful and a diverse range ceremony styling, but also being such a positive team helping with the instagram stories, time-keeping and all those positive vibes. Have we mentioned, there’s nothing better than to work with good folks? You want them at your wedding ‘fer sure!
If you’d missed this day, you may want to see the wonderful lil’ highlights from our friends. We’ve ordered them in the sequence of the runsheet of the day, more or less:
