We played and sang for Wendy’s 60th Birthday Party in Northam near Avon Valley just over an hour from Perth. It was amazing! We would like to thank Leah and Confetti and Co Events (Sarah) for organizing such a heartwarming and beautiful celebration, and for having our music. x

Wendy’s 60th Birthday Party in Northam
A formal, black-tie event. The theme was blue, silver and white. So we turned up in our bestest of blues and whites, and accents of silver. The birthday gal rocked up in a vintage 70s pink dress, it was pastel-ific evening. The garden was lit with silver balloons lined with faerie lights. At nightfall, the entire garden and courtyard sparkled.
We played anything from the 50s – 70s. The highlight of the night was singing and playing Wendy’s favourite tune ‘Brown-Eyed Girl’ (Van Morrison). Thank you Sarah from Confetti & Co Events for the wonderful tip. It got everyone on the dance floor, and she looked so happy dancing and singing along her favourite tune. We continued playing latin favourites like Sway, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps. The most endearing sight was kiddies have a dance with their dads.
It was a birthday party full of fun, heart and creativity. What we had really thought was brilliant was how she prepared slippers for everyone to dance in! I’m sure their feet are VERY thankful!
