We still can’t believe we got to sing and play for the wedding of Erica and Nia at Wildflower Perth Como Treasury. With us that day, were all their dearest, closest ones. What an honour. It was a windy day on the gorgeous newly-renovated terrace, only holding us all closer and more intimately to their love.
We loved having Juliet & Didi perform at our wedding ceremony! They are such a warm and gorgeous duo. Communication was a breeze throughout the entire process. They really helped us set the mood for the ceremony. It was an emotional day for Erica, which she shares openly in her instagram posts. And for somehow, we really do get that. It’s when you find that you are so grateful to find each other and that song ‘I Get to Love You’ by Ruelle is the perfect walk-in (processional) tune to highlight just that… We loved playing and singing the song as they walked down the aisle together. For their signing, we played a vibrant swingin’ Nat Cole’s L-O-V-E.
The charismatic celebrant Kirk shared how Erica is the sweetest, kindest soul, always putting others above herself, and how finally it is her day to shine, we felt so touched. And Nia, we had a taste of her down-to-earth uncanny sense of humour. There’s no way you can’t love them both.
Days leading up to the wedding, life and, and sadly a family loss happened. We were moved to see how everyone worked beautifully as a team, and how Erica and Nia, held unto their love closer. Their wedding ceremony was intense – intensely beautiful, loving, characteristic of who they are. When we sang ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ for them to celebrate the moment as they walked back down the aisle, it was hard for anyone not to dance and jump for joy for them.
